Playroom Drop-in
The Playroom in the Maple Ridge Leisure Centre offers the perfect place for parents and children ages 2-7 years to play together. Parents/Guardians are expected to supervise their child(ren) during the stay. Daycare providers are welcome to join in the playroom experience, space permitting and are required to supervise their child(ren). The Playroom can accommodate up to 24 people.
Child Minding Service
Available in the Playroom at the Maple Ridge Leisure Centre and exclusively for Moms and Dads or caregivers needing Child Minding Services while they work out within the Maple Ridge Leisure Centre. Child(ren) ages 2-7 years can play in a fun, safe, supervised playroom. All staff has experience in child care, frst aid and CPR-C training. There are only eight spaces available for supervised child minding. Entry may be limited if we are at capacity.
Hours of Operation for Playroom & Child Minding
Monday to Friday 8:45 am to 1:15 pm
Monday & Wednesday 4:30 - 7:30 pm
Saturday 8:00 am - 12:00 pm
Closed on Stat Holidays
Hours are subject to change if attendance is low.

Child Minding Guidelines
- Parents are required to sign their children in and out of Child Minding as well as indicate to staff where they
will be within the Leisure Centre. - Parents are required to stay in the Leisure Centre for the entire duration their children are in Child Minding.
- Parents are responsible for supplying any personal items for their child while in the playroom, i.e.: snacks or
drinks. - Children will be not be permitted into Child Minding if they are sick.
- No nut/peanut products allowed in the Playroom.
Rates for Playroom & Child Minding
$3.13 + tax for up to 1 ¼ hours
$5.16 + tax for up to 2 ½ hours
Prices effective January 1, 2012
Payment receipt required upon entry into Child Minding/Playroom.
